Job Description:
As SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for overall development, management, deployment of new SharePoint solutions as well as provide support and training.
Role and Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Implementing high quality, scalable and extendable SharePoint solutions.
- Design and implement development workflow.
- Coding, testing and implementing solutions in a SharePoint environment.
- Integrate and develop SharePoint solutions throughout the organization.
- Customize and provide support for SharePoint sites at client requirement.
- Responsible for troubleshoot and problem solving in SharePoint implementation sites.
- Responsible to consume and host web services via SharePoint platform.
- Responsible for developing SharePoint and .NET applications including: customizing the SharePoint Look and Feel using Master Pages, CSS and SharePoint Designer.
- Able to create and design Web User Interfaces for web applications as well as customizing SharePoint Look and Feel with custom solutions.
- Able to manage site collections, site configurations, site templates and web portal.
- Able to multitask several client requests at a time by gathering and prioritizing task in hand.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor / Master Degree in Computer Science or in related field.
- 1+ years experience in SharePoint site application and customization is a must.
You have the following experience and profile:
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, positive approach, result oriented and ability to understand the need of situation.
- Possess excellent communication skill within and outside the organization and a good team player with minimal supervision.
- Can-do attitude and approach, i.e. self reliance and a proven ability to work for long hours as per assignment need and client request (no time bound) and ability to handle pressure.
- Possess good analytical and problem solving skills with crisis management and resolution.
- Command over English language both writing and verbal.
- You have knowledge and experience with:
- Well versed with ASP.Net (2.0, 3.0, & 3.5), Dot Net framework, Web Services and a good knowledge of SharePoint 2007 version.
- Proficiency in Visual Studio is a must.
- Knowledge and experience working with the following technologies: ASP, HTML, Java Script, CSS, C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, WSS and MOSS 2007, Transact SQL, SQL Server.
- Overall understanding of Microsoft SharePoint technologies including SharePoint Architecture, Object Model, Configuration settings, Backup and maintenance and Permission and Security model.
- Hands on experience with customizing MS Office SharePoint Server 2007 (website configuration and management).
Background in any of the following is a bonus:
- Knowledge and experience in SharePoint 2003 version is also preferable.
- MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist): MOSS 2007 – Application Development
- MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist): MOSS 2007 – Configuration
