Javra Software is a software development company founded in 1999 in the Netherlands, and the company has continually provided services in the practice of Software Engineering.

The company was initially founded in the Netherlands and in early 2006; Javra Nepal was established in Nepal as an outsourcing unit of Javra Software.

Avant-garde C# Programmer
Javra Software has been developing various high quality C# related software. These projects are cutting edge in terms of both technology and complexity. We have been developing scientifically oriented image processing related products for one of our big international client.

We also have developed a product which requires the newest .NET technologies such as XAML and WPF. We need an enthusiastic C# programmer who has a very good knowledge of C# programming construct, an analytical mind and a spirit to learn the next generation .NET technology.

General Work Scope
As a C# programmer you will be working with hard core language constructs such as array manipulation, reflection, interfaces and factories on a daily basis. You will be closely involved in writing engineering related products that will be used possibly by millions around the globe for our international clients.

You will also be highly involved in the development of a large scale product at the core of our companies focus, that uses the newest .NET 3.0 related technologies such as Windows Presentation Foundation and XAML. Hence you will be working with 3D/2D animations, sounds, XML and Databases also on a daily basis.

Role and Responsibilities
You will be hired as a C# programmer. You will initially be working under the guidance of other experienced programmers. You will be given proper training to be able to work with new technologies mentioned.

As you will be working on software that is highly important to us, thus you will be a constant focus within the organization. Javra also views the above mentioned software as the main future product and hence will have big responsibilities on your shoulder. You will also have good opportunity for growth upon handling these responsibilities well.
  • Writing code in C# as per requirement
  • Analyze existing programs to find out how they work
  • Learn XAML and WPF and GUI designing using XAML
  • Write code to use WPF/XAML
  • Find about newest development in XAML and how they can be incorporated into existing code

Requirement and Qualification

  • Bachelors in Computer Engineering or higher with strong mathematical background

  • Over 1 year of industry experience

  • In depth knowledge of C# language and OOP concepts.

  • Willingness to learn new technologies

  • An analytical mind

  • Cooperative and responsible

A big advantage to those possessing the following skills

  • Knowledge of C++ programming language

  • Good knowledge of engineering mathematics or image processing/signal processing

  • Knowledge of XML

  • Prior knowledge of XAML will be a very big plus indeed


The following skills are optional but desirable:
• Knowledge of Dutch language

• Experience with Progress 4GL
